Here I am, another day another dollar to the government. Another turncoat in our government has taken place. Benedict Arnold has switched to the Democrats. Our country is indeed heading for socialism and I’m trying to do my part in letting it happen. Arlen Spector, the Senator from PA, originally from Bob Dole’s home state and our adopted home state of Kansas is a turncoat. Of course the Democrats are pleased. This Republican is NOT pleased. But then again, I’m not pleased with the Republicans either. I’m thinking of switching to the Independent party. My hero Bill O-Reilly of FOX is an Independent. I might just go that route politically.
To everything there is a purpose.
I’m writing this from Sally’s NEW computer. I’m able to save my writings to my flash drive. I’ve decided that the PC is NOT to be moved into her office until it’s ready. I spent most of the day yesterday trying to make some sort of semblance of her cluttered room. I guess her reward will be me moving her new PC in and hooking up the computer to the web. So that’s what I’ve been doing .. trying to make Sally’s office presentable for her clients. Our home is a disaster. There’s paper all over and stuff that needs to be pitched. Oh well .. my retirement days are never dull.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve gotta work on my frozen shoulder.
4/30/2009 6:43:36 AM
Here I am back using my laptop. The keyboard is fixed and I’m good to go. The only difference is I’m now using my flash drive as I used it to do my writing. Ain’t technology wonderful? J
Last night we celebrated Sergei’s confirmation party. at our church. I was able to pick up Carol H. and her kids to attend the celebration.
I got a call last night form someone in MN asking me about RELIV. I told her.
Guess I’ll now post this.
Here I am upstairs in the living room using Sally’s new PC. John brought her computer over last Saturday. I was in Overland Park KS at a financial seminar. This computer has all the bells and whistles on it. I plan to save my writings to a flash drive and then eventually copy/paste this to my blog through our web.
So Thanks to my #1 prodigal son for bringing his mother a new computer. My job is to load the appropriate programs on Sally’s new computer. I’m a geek as many of you reading this may or may not know.
OK .. I’m a writer, can’t help it. We have many computers in our home. WHY? Let me try to explain why. For one, computers were my specialty during my service to the post office. My job was a computer systems operator for the USPS/MDC here in Topeka KS.
My job back then was to get the work out for my fellow employees. Notice I use the word “employees” I was an employee as opposed an employer. Some of my supervisors did not like me for some reason. I was making more money than my immediate supervisor and that irritated them. So I was harassed. I wrote to every government agency I could think of, including the human resources in Washington DC.
Around July-August 2000 I received a call from a fellow federal employee in the human resource department wanting to settle my formal complaint. I asked what are the conditions? He stated that if you’ll agree NOT to get on any USPS computers we’ll let you finish out your career on sick leave. After counting to 10 on down I agreed. So I finished my last 7 months on sick leave. Management obviously did NOT want me anywhere on the USPS federal property. Bear in mind, my job was computer systems operator and I was NOT to do my job. I was told by many of my co-workers that I should have clocked in just for spite. I was also told that with my knowledge of computers I could have crippled the system. I chose NOT to go to jail. But I had a lot of employers asking me questions. I found out later that the same employers asking me questions got a big pay bonus. .. OH WELL.
So now we scroll to the present.
I will now save this and post it to http:mholter.blogspot.com when I get my laptop back from the Drs. Office.
Ask me about RELIV.com too

Here I am in KCMO somewhere. I’m in a Motel 6 near where I used to work back in the early 70’s. There is no Internet available either and I’m not about to buy a sprint card for just a little bit of time I’m here. I’m cheap. Guess I’ll save this an look for a place to eat.
I got lost again. I thought I was suppose to go to the Hyatt. The seminar was at the Hilton. OH WELL….
Shared my card with anyone who wanted to share.
4/24/2009 8:04:38 PM
I just got back from a nostalgia trip. Sally & I used to live at 7645 Loma Vista Dr. KCMO. I drove right up to the place and left a note on the door and my card. I then over to where we used to go to church. The church is now called Grace Community Church. I also left them my card and a note.
Of course I got lost.
4/26/2009 12:56:05 AM
Notice the time!
I’m back home.
And what a journey this has been the last two days.
I left for KCMO Friday to attend an AIM seminar. I got back home around 4:30 PM yesterday. An hour later the tornado sirens are going off. I’m trying to rest as Mark & I are scheduled to attend a Koyote football game.
So I get up and drive over to pick Mark up and we drive to the EXPO center. We’re lifetime members and have the same seats since day one, many years ago.
But the reason I’m so pumped right now is because of the knowledge I’ve learned from this latest AIM seminar.
So if it’s all right with you all, I’ll post this to my web and get back to doing what I was doing.

Yesterday was a mess! I had to be a three places all over Topeka KS. It started out with a visit to my dentist at 10 AM Then I had to go to my frozen shoulder Dr. at 11:15 AM
Well, I got out of the Dental chair in good time and rush over to the Drs. Office across town. The secretary told me that his office is not here. So I run back across town again only ½ mile away from the Dentist office. I miss the Dr. but have a meeting with his assistant. I just want some more pain medicine for my frozen shoulder. I read the chart and there’s a picture of me. So I get some more prescribed narcotics.
In the meantime, in disgust, I want to reward myself with CiCi’s pizza, a big no-no for us type 2 diabetics. So I walk up to the place and have no money. I run home to get my money clip and eat this delicious feast. I meet some friends and share my card.
I then proceed to head to learn more about my disease, Diabetes. This is located at St. Francis hospital. The bulletin board computer generated print says in in one classroom and it’s not there. So I arrive late again.
Then later on, I make my usual trip downtown to the Y for my “therapy.”
I forget to bring my wallet. So I drive all over town without my wallet.. a BIG NO NO.
Finally I get home with no arrests. I use Sally’s credit card (actually ours) to get some gas.
My pain medicine is filled out and I guess I’ll pop a pill.
Here endeth my rant.

Once again I come to you with sorrow on my heart my Lord.
Our BO President is really messing things up. I just read an article in the Investors Business Daily titled “inexcusable lapse.” That angered me.
Now there’s many more articles regarding what our BO (Barack Obama) administration is doing or not doing.
I just attended two tea parties. The last one was a week ago at the north Topeka Postal Annex and earlier at our statehouse grounds.
We’re now getting negative reports back from left-wingers and such. People are so ignorant my Lord. Can’t they see the destruction our administration is leading us?
We need your help Lord!
My left shoulder is still in therapy trying to spring back to it’s original position .. ie “frozen”. I’m still going to rebound therapy again to try to make it right. I need some spiritual help Lord. Why am I in pain? What caused this? I can’t rotate my left shoulder without going through #7-8 pain!
When will it heal? I’m getting down Lord. Need some help up there Jesus.
Sally’s computer keeps kicking her off the Internet. She has a virus or something. It takes her forever to open up anything, even our web. I asked to her call our #1 son, John, to come over and take it home with him. So far there’s no reply. Guess I’ll have to take it to a techy store myself.
My relationship with #1 is still non-existent. John does not recognize me as his father and consequently I do not recognize John as my son anymore. I have tried to mend this relationship but there’s just no communication there anymore my Lord. My #1 hand written bucket list web page is to get my son back. If/when that happens, I might , just might be able to have #2 crossed off also. Here’s the web address for my bucket list if anyone wants to follow along.
I try to update this monthly. Guess I need to get on my computer upstairs and get ‘er done as Larry the Cable guy likes to say.
Thanks for allowing me to vent again today my Lord.
I feel better.

My WeAkly video:
This week has been something else.
Sally & I attended a TEA party here on 4/15/9 here in Topeka KS. I brought my camera and took some pictures and videoed the street preacher’s prayer.
I’m doing my part.
Hang in there folks.
Looking around in our country financially and I’ve decided that Sally & I are a lot better off then most folks.
Ask me about reliv too
Myron, USAF (ret)
And Thanks Capt. Phillips for thanking the military
FINANCIAL PEACE (final week)
Last night was our final week at FPU @ OSLC.
The DVD was titled The Great misunderstanding.
We celebrated by bring goodies. Sally made a potato casserole.
I recommend anyone interested to attend FPU.
In fact, I’d like to go out on a limb. I would venture to say that our leaders in government have NOT graduates of FPU. Imagine that!
Thanks Mr. Ramsey !
And Thanks to Cherish for being our coordinator.

My pain level is around an eight. Yesterday I was able to drive from my home at 33rd @ Fairlawn to Rebound Physical Therapy @ 17th & Fairlawn, some 23 blocks south of here.
I’ve been reading a book by my Y friend Jim Caplinger. In this true story, Jim witnessed a man who had a shriveled hand. Jim was a young man who had just had a bad accident. He saw this person’s hand decided then and there he would NOT be in this condition.
The same applies to me!
I’ll NEED to exercise my left shoulder back to good health, painful and all!
In the meantime, I’m still popping pain pills.
Tuesday, April 14, 2009
This is going to be a boring article.
As many of you may or may not know, I am suffering from adhesive capsulitis, “frozen Shoulder”.
Last Friday, Sally drove me to St. Francis hospital to have it “unfrozen.”
I was placed under anesthesia to have the Dr. manipulate my left shoulder.
I don’t remember anything.
In fact, when I awakened, I asked the nurse when they were going to manipulate me.
But the next challenge is called physical therapy.
The problem now is one word
PAIN – PAIN – PAIN !!!
You know the old expression, “no pain – no gain”
The pain is so intense, that I NEED to take pain pills. Then my body gets very drowsy. How am I to drive to 17th & Fairlawn?
Hope I don’t cause an accident!
Our friend Julie S. fell and cut her head. She needed to call 911
Hopefully all you reading this are in good health.

Thank you for this Easter season.
Yesterday we celebrated you my going to church many times.
I was even able to sing in the choir to your glory.
Hopefully we’ll NOT sing that Latin song anymore.
Dear Jesus, you know my heart.
My prayer to you Lord is to help me cross off my bucket list as posted on my web.
That’s about it my Lord.
I need your help Lord.
I was pleased to see a short video of you having fun on your 3rd birthday.
You got to see your grandmother Sally & your uncle Mark too.
I’m your grandfather Myron. I would have loved to see you, but your mother will not allow me to see you.
I pray for you and your folk’s daily.
Someday your parents will see the errors in their ways my child.
You are more mature than your folks.
Hope your 3rd birthday was a happy one.
Someday I’ll get to have #2 on my bucket list crossed off.
Your parents are good parents.
Love you my child.

MY WEAKLY VIDEO:
Normally I do my video on Sat. morning.
I am scheduled to have my left shoulder “unfrozen.”
So rather than trying to get my left shoulder to respond, I’ve decided to do my video one day early.
Hopefully the shoulder manipulation will be simple.
Twelve years ago I had my right shoulder unfrozen. The biggest problem if I remember is the physical therapy afterwards.
So far my biggest problem is NO COFFEE L
That’s about it for today

Yesterday I had lunch at Hooters. No big deal. On Wednesday they advertise their special called Hot Wings. I love those specials.
So I proceed to sit by myself and lo and behold I run into a fellow Y member. I go over to him and tell him to keep his sockets in his eyes.
Franks then asks me if I would like to join him and his friend Jim for lunch.
Well, the conversation was very interesting. You see, Frank is one of the most wealthy people in our great city of Topeka. He introduced me to another millionaire, Jim. Jim even has a street named after Jim, of which COX communication is located, 921 Henderson.
Any conversation with millionaires is much more interesting than a million nay Sayers. You want to learn from the wealthy folks.
Thanks for buying my lunch Mr. Sabatinni and we’ll see you at the Y

This is a very special week for us!
Do I dare say that I’m a CHRISTIAN?
How about being a follower of Jesus? Would that offend anybody?
Frankly folks, I could care less anymore!
Call me a Christian if you’d like and then throw me to the lions.
Tonight is choir practice
Tomorrow is Maundy Thursday
Friday is Good Friday (I’m puzzled by the word “good”)
Saturday our choir sings for the Saturday worshipers.. (I think)
Sunday is EASTER
That’s our church schedule folks
John & Kim are non-churchgoers. That disturbs Sal & I. I pray for my prodigal son and his lovely wife daily. Someday I might be able to cross of my bucket list. No Lying in this sentence. Forgiveness is one of the fruits of the spirit you know.
A softening of Kim’s heart will need to take place before I’m allowed to cross of #2 on my bucket list.
GOD BLESS you all reading this
Be sure to attend the church of your own choosing.

Below is a message I received today. I like the idea, and I plan to participate. Hope you will too. Pass along the idea to others.
There's a storm abrewin'. What happens when good, responsible people keep quiet? Washington has forgotten they work for us. We don't work for them. Throwing good money after bad is NOT the answer. I am sick of the midnight, closed door sessions to come up with a plan. I am sick of Congress raking CEO's over the coals while they, themselves, have defaulted on their taxes. I am sick of the bailed out companies having lavish vacations and retreats on my dollar. I am sick of being told it is MY responsibility to rescue people that, knowingly, bought more house than they could afford. I am sick of being made to feel it is my patriotic duty to pay MORE taxes. I, like all of you, am a responsible citizen. I pay my taxes. I live on a budget and I don't ask someone else to carry the burden for poor decisions I may make. I have emailed my congressmen and senators asking them to NOT vote for the stimulus package as it was written without reading it first. No one listened. They voted for it, pork and all.
O.K. Folks, here it is. You may think you are just one voice and what you think won't make a difference. Well, yes it will and YES, WE CAN!! If you are disgusted and angry with the way Washington is handling our taxes. If you are fearful of the fallout from the wreckless spending of BILLIONS to bailout and "stimulate" without accountability and responsibility then we need to become ONE, LOUD VOICE THAT CAN BE HEARD FROM EVERY CITY, TOWN, SUBURB AND HOME IN AMERICA. There is a growing protest to demand that Congress, the President and his cabinet LISTEN to us, the American Citizens. What is being done in Washington is NOT the way to handle the economic free fall.
So, here's the plan. On April 1, 2009, all Ameicans are asked to send a TEABAG to Washinton , D.C. You do not have to enclose a note or any other information unless you so desire. Just a TEABAG. Many cities are organizing protests. If you simply search, "New American Tea Party", several sites will come up. If you aren't the 'protester' type, simply make your one voice heard with a TEABAG. Your one voice will become a roar when joined with millions of others that feel the same way. Yes, something needs to be done but the lack of confidence as shown by the steady decline in the stock market speaks volumes.
This was not my idea. I visited the sites of the 'New American Tea Pary' and an online survey showed over 90% of thousands said they would send the teabag on April 1. Why, April 1?? We want them to reach Washington by April 15. Will you do it? I will. Send it to; 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington , D.C. 20500 ...
Forward this to everyone in your address book. Visit the website below for more information about the 'New American Tea Party'. I would encourage everyone to go ahead and get the envelope ready to mail, then just drop it in the mail April 1. Can't guarantee what the postage will be by then, it is going up as we speak, but have your envelope ready. What will this cost you? A little time and a 40 something cent stamp.
What could you receive in benefits? Maybe, just maybe, our elected officials will start to listen to the people. Take out the Pork. Tell us how the money is being spent. We want TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY. Remember, the money will be spent over the next 4-5 years. It is not too late.
You’re grandfather “MY” has NOT been good!
Yesterday my 95 Toyota Camry ORDERED me to eat at CiCi’s Pizza. I love pizza! I love to eat all those foods that are NOT good for me.
You see, Madeline, I have diabetes.
My type II Diabetes is under control, as long as I behave.
I am responsible for my own actions. You might tell that to your mother.
Someday, maybe, just maybe I might get to cross off #2 on my bucket list.
Love you my child,
Your GrandPa My
