I've been accused of being a narcissist.  This is my reply.

2/16/2010 5:29:11 AM MY HEALTH: OK .. the folks have been asking about my health, so I’ll write a little about myself and where I am regarding my health issue. But first I gotta tell ya .. Sally & I are both CLUTZES! WOW, my word checker program even likes that word. Sally used my recliner as an overnighter. She spilled coke all over (in her sleep?) and I’m cleaning up her mess. So we share the same recliner in our family room. At times accidents will happen. I love you Sal. Fortunately my laptop is still working. Now let me get back to what’s going on with my body. As many of you may or may not know, or could care less, I have some health issues. I’m not as unhealthy as my older brother Dale, but I’m running a close 2nd. Well, maybe brother Wes might be ahead of me. Yesterday I arrived at St. Francis hospital for my physical therapy. The therapist wrote on their computer that I have one leg shorter than the other. I’m OK I’m OK .. at least for now. Sally drove me to see a “specialist” yesterday to see what’s wrong with me. The ENT building is located right next to a funeral home, so I guess I’m good to go. Anyway, the balance tester made me dizzy. I’m still suffering as I write this. They ruled out my inner ear being the problem. The next test will be my brain. I’m reminded of the movie “The wizard of OZ”. .. “If I only had a brain.” I’ll be giving my brain to the scarecrow. At least there’s a funeral home close by. The best part about yesterday was I FINALLY got my 1st cup of coffee afterwards. L8r myron@myownfaith2.com

YESTERDAY: 12/16/2009 7:09:22 AM Yesterday was an interesting day. I get up. I do my “thing”. I turn on my computer. I turn on my TV. I get some coffee. Have I said the word “I” enough? How’s that for being self centered? J So anyway, after doing all these mundane things, it’s time to do fun things. Sally has written her annual Christmas letter. Being the computer geek that I am, The letter has been posted on our web. The next function is to stuff envelopes. I can do that. Now that the Christmas season is rapidly approaching, we’re finding many more ADS in the paper. One of the Christmas purchases to myself from myself is a new tool chest. The 95’ Toyota could not fit the BIG box, so the 73’ Ford (3/4) Truck (My hearse) was put into action. Mission accomplished! It’s wonderful to be DEBT FREE! Thanks Dave! HEALTH REPORT: 12/13/2009 10:19:21 AM OK … This will be a boring report on my health. I am suffering from a cold of some sort. That can be corrected with proper medication. What my main concern regarding my health is my balance problem. I would fail a drug sobriety test and I don’t even drink. If I were ordered to stand at attention in the military, I would fail. So what’s one to do? Guess I’ll find out Dec 22, 2009 at the Ear, Nose & Throat specialist. At least they’ll tell me what is NOT my problem. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know .. SICK: 12/11/2009 7:04:54 AM Yesterday I was sick. No fever, just feeling puny. Sally also has the sinus cold.. My voice is back, but there’s no singing voice yet. Sorry choir. So what does one do all day when sick? .. NOTHING. Spent all day deleting unnecessary emails and moving emails around to various folders. Guess I’ll get busy. The second cup of coffee is waiting. 11/29/2011 Bible reading to Daisy 11/26/2011 Thanksgiving Preparations: 11/25/2009 7:03:49 AM OK.. I confess! I’m really not very excited about the upcoming holidays this year. I’ve been in a funk. Some seem to think I’m depressed. Dr. Davis wants to me to see an ear, eyes & nose specialist to correctly diagnose my headaches & dizziness He gave me some happy medicine too. NO – I’m not crazy! The prescription has not been ordered. Yesterday I had a bad spell. Sally is worried. I stayed away from any ladders. HEALTH CONCERNS .. (mine) 9/4/2009 5:03:45 AM I’m OK Yesterday I had my body checked over by www.lifelinescreening.com I recommend anyone who might be concerned about their health to take this test. I’ll not know the results for three weeks. If there was something serious, like a stroke potential, I would have been told immediately. No one seemed to be alarmed. MY HEALTH (replies) 8/27/2009 9:22:10 PM The other day I sent out a global email about my health and most everybody were concerned. I thank you for the positive replies. I would like especially thank my 1st cousin Martha for her email reply. I will now attempt to copy/paste her email to my MS word program so you can ALL enjoy her email. Here it is: Oh Myron, I am so sorry and am praying for you. I wish you would try our supplements because they really have made the difference in our compromised immune system and well being. Just maybe they would help you too? If you try them for about 5 months, save all the empty containers and receipts, you can get all your money back -up to 6 months out, if you are not satisfied. I know you have your own company and I am sure that they have good products too. GOOD MORNING: 8/27/2009 5:11:05 AM Life goes on, no matter what! Yesterday I thought I was going to die! My world was literally spinning around me. I was dizzy and I had a headache. So I had Sally call the life line screening people to set up an appointment for me. Unfortunately, the bill will be $150.00 with no insurance helping out. OH WELL .. Today, I’m hoping I can pick our son , Mark, up and we can go somewhere for lunch. Hopefully the city inspectors will approve our painting work. Where’s my VA check? Yesterday was a wash. I went golfing Sunday afternoon with the church bunch. Around the 5th hole at Topeka Public, I started getting tired. Steve R. offered me a ride. I had to hold on to my pull cart with my right hand. I felt my tendon being stretched, but I continued playing. So yesterday I was in pain. Sally gave me some outdated analgesic cream to apply. It worked a little bit. I put some of those “magical” pads on my right shoulder. NO HELP. So, we need to let Mother Nature take its course with the human body. I couldn’t even write to my blog! 7/1/2009 5:49:43 AM Good Morning! The future of our state and country is not yet lost. Yesterday we met at the round-a-bout café , 21st and Urish. We call our selves the 912 group. I call us the tea party folks. You can call it whatever you’d like. I offered my computer services. OK .. I have a boil on my face. Sally read to me from webmd and the verbage and photos describe it to a tea. UGLY And here we are getting ready for the 4th of July. Sally and I are going to be singing with the Grace Episcopal church folks along with other churches. Last year I had to sit in the front row. Steve, the choir director for Grace suggested that the first tenors sit in front. We have a shortage of tenors, as usual. I’ll ask him if he wants an ugly tenor in the front row. My visit to the Drs. Office yesterday was NOT FUN!! He lanced my boil and I’m now on medication and currently trying to make it drain. I believe I took a photo of myself and posted it to my blog. 6/30/2009 6:32:06 AM OH NO NOT AGAIN! Here’s another image of my injury. This time it’s on my face. I’m thinking rather than an insect bite, I’ve got a staff infection. I know, I know, it’s not called staff, rather steph (or something like that) My spell checker is going bananas. I looked up on webmd to educate myself on what I’ve got, and it’s not pretty. 5/29/2009 7:37:27 AM BROWN RECLUSE SPIDER BITE: For those reading this, just get on google.com and do a search of the fore mentioned words. That’s what I have. My bite is right next to my 3rd leg, for those of you from Bruce SD, that my dick,.. Wearing underwear irritates the bite. My Dr. looked at it and I’m on antibiotics Sally tried to lance the bite to get the puss out, but it didn’t work. I’m sure Sally will be sending out an email about my injury. 5/19/2009 4:58:02 AM GOOD MORNING: This is the first day for the rest of your life. I have in front of me a medical flyer titled “Should you take these life saving tests?” “don’t hesitate to ask your doctor” I got a call from my cardiologist regarding the ultra sound test taken a few days ago. I guess I’d better return the call. There’s TOO MANY things that need to be done BEFORE I kick the bucket. My dizziness continues. I also have a headache as I write. Perhaps my body is talking to me? Am I a prime candidate for a stroke? Yesterday I spent most all of the day in our backyard. My goal is to have at least 10 trash bags weekly. I spent a lot of time digging up tree roots from places where trees and bushes are NOT to be. Our little castle here at 5112 SW 33rd ST and 5112 ½ SW 33rd ST is a mess. But it’s my therapy. 5/14/2009 5:12:47 AM Good Morning everyone: My journey through life continues. Yesterday I had my last torture .. er Therapy session at Rebound. Then last night I also attended an arthritis class at the same place. I learned a lot and thanked the staff for all their help. I do believe that my frozen left shoulder is an arthritic condition. I’m now on my own. The exercises are there for me to take action. If I choose NOT to perform these exercises, my arthritis will continue. I was able to swing a golf club!!! So let’s get back to work Myron Of course I shared our business card with anyone. Maybe someday we might get some positive results.
