Christmas is a sad time for me.

EYEGLASSES: & Family Therapy 10/18/2009 5:44:55 AM Yesterday while attending the renaissance festival at Bonner Springs KS I decided to put my glasses in my coat pocket. I reached in my pocket to put them back on and could not focus on anything! What happened was the left lens fell out. Fortunately I can still drive without my glasses, but BOY did my eyes perform a number on me! So I get home and realize that I need a special SMALL screwdriver to replace the lens. It’s important that I get the lens popped back in as I can’t do anything close up, like reading. I can type from memory though. Our church is hosting a musical today also. I NEED to have these glasses! Yesterday Sally & I also had family counseling. There is a little issue in our lives called problems. Maybe I’ll get to see my granddaughter someday. Yesterday, I dropped by the bowling alley to try to have a conversation with my estranged son. John is NOT bowling this year. Greg informed me that it’s his back. My brother Wes had his 2nd hip replaced. I heard that the medical folks placed him in ICU as apparently he had other issues, like his heart. Welcome to our heart diseased world brother Wes. My brother Ronny does not have a clue how to use a camera. Anyway, this is where I want my tombstone placed. My parents tombstone is right next to me. I was able to make a seperate video.

5/26/2009 5:54:19 AM KNOWLEDGE – TOOLS – POWER Learning or knowledge is a powerful word. When one achieves knowledge, one needs the tools to do so. Then when these words are mixed together, one has the power to accomplish whatever goals in life. How’s that for a loaded sentence. Yesterday, Sally & I spent all day at home. I used the tools to put over 12 + trash bags on our street for the city trash guys. I consider working outside my therapy. I probably saved our medical bill lots of $$$. I feel humbled to be able to work. Thanks be to GOD. Yesterday was Memorial Day. I only saw one person I knew, Sally, if she would honor me, being I’m a Veteran. She just laughed. She honors me all the time. We could have attended a number of ceremonies, but chose to stay home. Sally asked me last night what I used to do in my childhood over Memorial Day. I couldn’t recall. My memories of Holiday events were nothing to celebrate in my childhood. We just didn’t make a big deal out of the...

5/15/2009 5:15:59 AM GOOD NEWS! My two brothers, Wes & Dale are doing OK! Wes had his left hip replaced yesterday and Dale had more exploratory surgery on his body looking for more blood clots. Thank you Jesus! Yesterday Sally and I had a romantic afternoon. We dropped Mark off at his place, then got some Church’s chicken around 10th Street close to the hospital. We then drove over to Gage park and ate our meal on a picnic table. On the way home we stopped at ACE hardware store for gardening seeds. Spent most of the day in the backyard, trying to get organized.
