Pot Belly Pinup  Of the Month Application                                                  5/19/97
Myron is a sort of interesting fellow.  His friends have called him a
little "weird", but he prefers to be called silly.
He was born in a small town (Estelline SD) on Jan 23, 1945,
the 5th of 6 children.  His mother explains that he was in a hurry to be
born, but has never been in a hurry since.  He grew up on a farm between
Bruce and Estelline SD with 3 older brothers, an older sister and a younger
sister.  Yes he is the thorn between  the two roses.
He has worked all his life, from youth, from doing farm work at home for his father,
hauling bales, milking cows, picking rocks, etc. and hired out in his
high school years doing whatever the local farmers would need.
Myron  has attended numerous schools since Bruce High School, Bruce SD (now defunct).  He attended
Golden Valley Lutheran College, Golden Valley MN (now defunct),
South Dakota State University, Brookings SD, (SDSU)
University of Nebraska at Omaha, NB, (UNO)
University of Missouri at Kansas City, MO,(UMKC) without getting a degree
in any of these schools.  In between schooling he worked for the
Forest Service in the mountains  Idaho clearing trails for hunters, etc.
Myron finally "settled" down after seeing the folly of his ways going to
schools, married his current wife Sally and have two boys John (26)
and Mark (23).  He lives in Topeka KS and works for the Postal Service
as a Computer Systems Operator at the Material Distribution Center
Topeka KS since Nov. 1973.
Perhaps Myron's only claim to fame is that he has bicycled across Kansas
two years in a row and is planning to bicycle again this June 1997.  He enjoys
playing racquetball and golf, being a true laid back duffer.
See his homepage |How to Live Long|

Myron has designed his own Personal Web site and has linked the
Pot Belly Men of America to his homepage.  The address is as follows:

There are some Pot Belly pictures to choose from.
Myron can claim that "I've worked my rear end off all my life!"
He would be "honored?" if he were chosen "Pinup Man of the Month"
although I'm sure that there are many more exciting men to display
than an old farm boy from the midwest.
